The Bottle Angler™ was developed by a father of premature twins who suffered from reflux. He realized that angled neck bottles made feeding time easier for both baby and parent. He and his wife already owned a set of bottles and did not want to have to invest in another set of permanently angled bottles, which a baby would ultimately outgrow. A bottle angler that could easily be attached to a regular bottle added flexibility as well as economy. Besides, a regular bottle with a small, detachable angled piece is so much easier to clean than a permanently angled bottle.
Surely he was not the first parent who noticed this problem. After searching for something in stores and online that would solve his problem and realizing that such a device did not exist, he decided to create his own.
The father understood that his solution needed to be lightweight, small enough to fit in a pocket or purse and be easily attached and detached, even in the middle of a feeding if the baby wants to change feeding position. As any parent will tell you, it also needed to be easy to clean.
